Dude... you have a nice collection of modern power. You really need to build an around-the-walls shelf layout to showcase all your motive power and rolling stock. But, your like me, never can have too many locos. Seriously nuthing wrong with carpet runnin', but build a layout. How about a double track around the room with some modern buildings, only about a foot deep. Then you can let your Sante Fe and BNSF power really stretch their legs. I'm yankin' your chain, keep it up bro.
Nice vid! i own a hobby shop and i sell the same product for $70.00

So what exactly is a DC power power pack? How much are they and where can i buy one? (I'm new to trains)

you can get them from any hobby shop they are less than 90 dollars.

Do you need a DCC system to run multiple locos on the same train or not? If so do those other locos behind the first one help pull the train or are they just for show?

No DCC is required to the run this, just a good DC power pack. All of my locomotives are running. I many use athearn, KATO, and Atlas locomotives on my trains.
