Nevermind, y'all. After seeing ufogovernment's comment and doing some of my own research, I think the black line can be attributed to a contrail shadow. If the sun is just right, the plane's contrail will emit a shadow on the humidity in the air, etc...

I saw 'black streaks' in Nottingham city square 13/04/2008 c. 1430hrs. Prevailing chemtrails already prominent in the sky observed a chemtrailing plane bend onto several black streaks then turn in to 1 black streak that the plane followed laying a large puffy trail that when laid travelled into the opposite diection of wind following the black streak part of the trail dissipated in curls and circles. very very strange. looked around and not one person was bothered or noticed ! I've seen these black leaders with the sun directly overhead, completely in the wrong direction to cast shadows directly in the line with the planes flight path.

Hey I just video responded with a clip i made of two cellphone pictures. They show a unique black line that does not follow the chemtrail's path. It is straight while the trail is curved. Also in one of the photos it shows MULTIPLE black lines. Check it out, its very intriguing.
