George Harrison, 'This Song'

Includes rarely seen "on location" set-up shots and scenes. Underscored by the marathon negotiation session between Saturday Night Live producer, Lorne Michaels, George, and Dennis--over the rumored Beatles (The Rutles) reunion on Saturday Night Live. Including Paul Simon's (Lorne's best friend) and Monty Python's, Eric Idles influence in making the duet with George on 'Here Comes The Sun' and 'Homeward Bound' as a condition of the late night TV show airing the films, 'Cracker Box Palace', and 'True Love' both filmed and directed at George's estate in the U.K. by Monty Python's Eric Idle.

However, both George and Dennis had other ideas, and in the negotiating session replaced the Eric Idle directed films' with,'This Song'. And Lorne Michaels did not like that (claiming prior related commitments to Eric Idle).

At the end of the day two things were left on the bargaining table: Lorne wanted his friend Paul to perform a duet with George; and George and Dennis wanted (a SNL first) Lorne to air the film, 'This Song'.

Thus; the companion videos, 'Here Comes The Sun/Homeward Bound' and 'This Song'.
