  • Oprah can afford to take excellent care of her hair so why wouldn't that be her real hair! By the way two ignorant heifers did challenge Oprah, they were not convinced that her hair was hair until they could see her scalp. I was so embarrassed for them. Black women need to take better care of their hair and stop tripping over whether or not someone's hair is real or a weave or a wig! We need to stop majoring in minor things.

  • SHIMA your hair is georgeous!

  • why u mad? why u care?

  • It is a insecurity especially if they believe oh black women can't grow long hair until they see a woman with long natural hair, they kind of eat their own words. Because of that then comes the weave check or you must got Indian in you.

  • @Dawnwaterfall First of all *super big hug for your strength*. I'm very sry that the one woman in the world who is supposed to make you feel loved unconditionally has chosen to be so ignorant about you. I admire your strength to tell her nothing is wrong with your hair, because NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR HAIR HUN. You have have a deep talk with your dad or a woman you trust who is black to help you educate your mom. Keep on seeking out vids like this to help feel better bout yourself. <3

  • @angleeyez68 im all black and it is easy. all you have to do is take GREAT care of you hair. im fully black and have good hair.

  • I definetly know black women can grow very long waist length hair...I have 2 sisters with "super long hair" (mid back); and yes one has had her hair cut as short as Toni Braxton back in the day...neither one of these 2 sisters go to a beautician but take very good care of their hair...my hair length prior to cutting and coloring was below mid shoulder, but I have cut it and now letting it grow out and it is now a little lower than mid back...and yes WE are black, black mommy and daddy

  • @Dawnwaterfall no U must address this with your mother..do U have black relatives, that R intelligent? Tell them & ask her to them to confront her with U. What she's doing is wrong! every body have different things about them, & they shouldn't be made fun of. My granddaughters Re mixed, I can't imagine what they would feel if their father or mother would make fun of them! U can not carry this with U into adult hood...U r beautiful as well, I can tell from your tone..be blessed

  • I just think if everyone was educated about their own hair and what works for it there would be any haters on women with long hair......want to see a black women hair journey with hair alost as long as shimas. Check out kimmytube channel she would school all the haters ;-) shima yourhair is nice u are a woman who obviously know what works for your hair to retain its length

  • I'm 12, and my mother is white, my dad was black...I have his hair....My mom is very racist at times and she makes fun of my hair, I tell her nothing is wrong with it, but she wont listen, she calls it names and stuff...I don't think she realizes that she's calling me names too...But anyway, no more about my life story, than you SO MUCH for these videos! I LOVe them, they make me feel better and like I can laugh in my moms face...Even though I love her...

  • @sealie15 the one and only :)
