  • I don't see why people spend so much money on PC's

I play Oblivon on max with

    Dell

    Windows 7

    4gb or RAM

    Athlon Quad

    Radeon HD 4200 1GB

  • @RnRPwN is your card an integrated graphics card (IGP)? Generally speaking, most IGPs are useless when it comes to gaming. But there might be an exception nowadays due to improved architecture on motherboards & integrated GPUs. A game like Oblivion is not too demanding by today's standards. Try Batman Arkham City and then see why people spend so much money.

And for people like me, I not only have to run the game but also record with Fraps, which puts an additional strain on the system.

  • @BladeRunnerLives I ran Batman Arkham Asylum no problem on that same card. Also it ran Metro 2033, Skyrim, and MW3 fine. That card is actually pretty good IGP

  • @skaterx4708 typically enthusiasts like to run their games at a resolution of at least 1920x1080. But nowadays 2560x1600 seems to be becoming the norm. On a game like Crysis, if you run it at that resolution with anti-aliasing at max, most modern cards will still struggle to run it, if at all.

If your card can run those games, then it is indeed a pretty good IGP. But I will remain skeptical until I see some proof ;-)

  • @DexterTheRagdollCat blame the quality on You tube's conversion. I uploaded a crystal clear video, but apparently Youtube requires a minimum bitrate to have reasonably clear video. I'm sure their conversion process improved once they introduced 1080p HD, but this video was made before then.

  • @ravenwda007 i don't think it works that way, because since then the cpu has always been the bottleneck because it locks it's timings and everything passes through the cpu before you can see any output. there was this test i think a year ago, they overclocked some kingston ddr3 memory to hold a new world record and they said that the only bottleneck was the high end cpu.

  • @BladeRunnerLives Just search Crysis 2 with HD4200 and this guy has uploaded tons of games on that card.

  • @Thegreenflyingyoda

If you are going to put in 8 you better make sure it does not bottleneck the CPU.

  • @MrM3MIX

I'm running Tri Fire 5970 and 5870. 30FPS!!!!! Crossfire is shit on skyrim. Turn it off. 60FPS.

  • @zeldafan101293 daude, you got one of the best ATI cards out there, and a rly good CPU, man, you will run skyrim at ultra 100%, i do with a HD 6950, and you can even run BF3 on ultra
