I've never tried any night flying stuff, so I'm curious... How did you manage to power those lights while your blades were spinning? I can just imagine wires getting tangled!
Obviously I'm a total noob and there's probably a build thread I could find, but could you please give me some tips if you have any? Thanks!

I didn't make the blades, but I know he used copper tape and surface mount LEDs. The batteries are the small ones similar to what you can get in the parkzone RTF planes. Those were heat shrinked near the root of the blades.
