Why Donald Fagen/Walter Becker/Steely Dan's music makes me feel absolutely alive whenever I hear it...be it 1981 or 2011...I don't know. And frankly I don't care. Just as long as it continues to work it's magic on my soul I'm thankful.

close your eyes play this song....now think waking up 4:00am looking outside the 36th floor of a condo watching the city lights and traffic. Your still a little drunk or high from the night before and theres a beautiful woman happily asleep in the bed cause you did your duty. You smile at cause you feel good. This happened to me in Miami while this song was playing. I always will remember it.

The part that brings back the best of the '70s and early '80s.They also ease You into times before the world culture was taken over by manic paranoia,a good time where music actually was fun and had a great feel.A time I wouldn't mind going back to Myself,
Now only to get a Datsun 280Z and put in a pioneer supertuner cassette deck, and find just that right FM station, You know, with newer music and few commercials..
