Charlie Wilson is 1 of my favorite artist. I became a fan in the 2nd grade after hearing "Oops Upside Ya Head," & have looked forward to EVERY CD The Gap Band/Charlie has released. I truly RESPECT his journey, & the resolve it took, & continues to take, to stay clean & sober. While Mr. Wilson was recovering, I have to thank Guy for filling that Charlie Wilson/Roger Troutman sound I love so much. Hopefully 1 day I'll get to meet Mr. Wilson. Keep showing these young bucks how it should be done.

This talented man's story is a condemnation of the music industry which I myself have seen take advantage of and cheat the talent that sells the music. I'm so happy to see that Charlie was able to survive his hard times and find a wonderful mate to make his life happy. He has given so much happiness to so many people, he deserves all he has and the love and respect of his fan. Thank you Charlie for many, many happy hours of dancing!
