1) These types of games are made because they make huge profit margins for companies like EA and others.
2) In this video, you suggest that China and the U.S. will be involved in a war as there will be a conflict of resources. That would be too risky. Instead, both China and the U.S. will support opposing factions in a civil war (and if there isn't one, they'll create a civil war).
