My only son went off to war in Iraq.

On 06/07/2007 we got the call that every parent dreads.

Fortunately he survived, and after 14 surgeries will soon be returning home for good.

The experience has helped us understand God’s love.

My son is also in the Air Force. He graduated from BMT in June, 2009. And I agree, this song does express what my heart feels. My son is currently serving in Afghanistan and is scheduled to return to the states in a few days. He is my son and my only son. Thank your son for his service and thank you for raising such a wonderful son who is willing to serve our country.
