Ever wondered how best to move between Aperture and Photoshop? In this video tutorial I show the workflow I use to edit RAW images, switching between Aperture 3 and Photoshop CS5 to get the best of both worlds.

  • Excellent video! Thank you.

Question: Are you running Lion on your computer? Any problems with Aperture 3 and Lion?

I want to download Lion, but I heard when it first came out that they had some problems with "some" pro apps.

    Thanks for your time.

  • @chessdude67 Hi Tim, Thanks for feedback. I am running Lion and experience no more problems than usual with Aperture (or Photoshop, Final Cut, etc.). Your milage may vary!

  • Once again, a great video! For many folks, the availability of different applications for image adjustment can be very confusing. You have helped to clarify what's best do do in Aperture versus what's best in Photoshop.

  • @petethornephoto LOL! Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to downloaded it later today.

Thanks again for sharing your skills with us. I'm slowly learning. Also, just downloaded Final Cut Pro X. Should be fun once I get the hang of it!

    Take care,

    Tim
