A family in Kisii is heartbroken after the government took away a baby they had rescued from near death six months ago. The children department took the child to a childrens home arguing that the family must now seek to adopt the child officially. But lawyers are questioning the wisdom of wrenching the child from the arms of its foster parents at a time when many children are seeking proper homes NTVs Gladys Mutiso reports on the big contradiction.

  • hmm shame kenyan government i too went through hell trying to help by adopting but alot of frustration led me to just appreciate my kids and not feel guilty of their priviledged upbring (to think i had guilt tripped my family into seeing the need to adopt from my native land)

  • Maybe Deya has a check for them!

  • Asante ya punda ni mateke!

Arisa dont worry, Sir God above sees what you have done. It shall not go in vain.

See the sisters and brothers crying....

  • We need baby Zawadi back home!

  • Really? We don't need more laws just ONE law : against Govt Madness! Why would anyone snatch the baby from her rescuer? What was the point of reporting to authorities? suckle Zawadi and subject the couple to Med tests only to've Zawadi dumped in an orphanage with strangers? She got sisters here, a dad a Mom Zawadi got ♥ ♥ family!

Now she is just a statistic in crowded public dormitory, CRAZY!

  • this makes me mad whats the rationale, the child had a family which if anything would have just been told thank u for what they did and vetted if need be,other than an orphanage with no uncertainty NKT.

  • That child belongs to Arisa, what if they let him die, where could the children's department be coming in? God open their eyes, the future of this child is being messed up, most of these orphanages have been known for various forms of abuse...
