the judges were right to kick him out. Who ask him to be late in the first place? Even if its not for others, you give yourself a bad impression that you are not serious about the competition/job. Also, if he decided to join the competition, he should be mentally prepared for it (organise his time VERY well with his work, spore idol etc beforehand) This is what you get if you are not responsible enough.

Dang the judges! Just because the reuben guy came late and didn't attend the workshop they kick him out! I mean, is someone supposed to miss all their company's meetings and get fired just because of Singapore Idol? So what if you win? You only get publicity, not money. So if you lose your job, nothing's gonna change.
