A modified replication of Howard Johnson's 1979 patented linear motor in perfect working condition. Requires no external power. Easy to build and thoroughly explained in both construction and physics.

  • Well done ! Does it have a drag point at the entrance, so do you need energy to put it onto the start position ? So is it like a compressed spring there or is the car pulled into the track at the start position ?

    Many thanks. Regards, Stefan.

  • @overunitydotcom The latch at the beginning keeps it from being drawn into the 360° gate until released. Of course there is a small repulsion field beyond the latch. This is diminished by "tuning" the magnetic field with side mounted modifier magnets until the correct assymetry is achieved.

  • Is that the same one that liberty research Nina, Nevada redid the blue prints for? Also featured in popular science mag in spring 1979

  • @HojoisaNoNo Never heard of them.

  • do you plan to build howard johnson orginal perm mag motor?

or have you already built it

  • @HojoisaNoNo Are you referring to the one featured in the 1980 Science & Mechanics magazine? If so, to my knowledge he had never built a working prototype of that particular rotary device. He did however build several working linear units in similarity to the one in my video.

  • So, will we see part three and four which will display an attempts to keep it going in some sort of loop? Always most peeps post the attempts and never finish. Then we never see anything anymore. Shall you be one of the first to make it work completely?

  • What about the possibility of using quantum locking/levitation of a superconductor in conjunction with this linear motor? In a circular path with constant magnetic flux, other than the motor, perhaps perpetual motion until the superconductor falls below critical temperature?

  • So basically this is Newton's and Faraday's laws placed into physical action, correct?

  • @PalmyBruce oh you got me, since i can't go buy an energy machine from wal-mart then this just must not be possible. Factories will never produce free energy devices, it's a political and economical nightmare. It is up to people like me to build something to power my own home, i couldn't care less if you can go off the grid. I never said that a magnetic motor would in fact work, but i find them interesting. I would like to build a radiant energy device, seeing as you need no inputs

  • @TheStranger789 I repeat, instead of all this theory, can you simply show us any such motor actually in use, providing the energy to do work, without any fuel or other energy input? If you can, I'll buy one and use it to power my home without need for the grid or firewood.

  • Hi, why you did not use the same car arc magnet setup in your rotor type motor? Dont you loose attraction power with disk type of magnet that on rotor?

  • That's why they decided to not to make it real size... too much expense in material costs.
