@elliottsmith10 im not too concerened, maybe someday i will be a master at flying spinning headkicks, but unless ur bruce lee i wouldnt try it outta ur dojo. a kick to the head is very painful, i think i described what happened when i was hit in the head like that, but just watch ufc for proof, even in that where its not truly no hold barred, taekwondo moves arent really done as they are not very useful when it goes up against other martial arts. theres no dancing in the octagon, just sayin

@elliottsmith10 leg kicks are useful, i would try those in a street fight, but no way am i going for a headkick unless A: no one is behind me that may interfere with my insanely long spinning head kick that leaves me vulnerable and B: the guy is literally barely standing up anymore and im now trying to be jean claude van damme and show off and lay this guy out. however i cannot land that kind of kick so it wouldnt be for me to try. there are rules in muay thai that allow nice kicks to happen

@matt47forTED lol what about the hundreds of people that have been knocked out by head kicks? i practice muay thai and taekwondo and i catch at least one headkick every sparring session, you dont just throw a roundhouse without setting it up first. thats how you land them

@elliottsmith10 ok, i actually have been kicked in the head that way, but not in a fight. and not in a gym, i was at a hardcore show in conn, and the way they danced was straight up karate, i had a friend jump off my back and as i stood up i stood right into a guy doing one of those kicks lol or maybe it was even a little more, he was spinning too. anyways i had bruise the size of an egg on my head and threw up and someone else had to drive home. but if i saw it coming it would never land
