what makes dr dog one of the greatest bands ever is that they are not over influenced by society. it seems to me that being impressionable goes hand and hand with not being intelligent. intelligent people like dr dog rise above this influence, and use their minds to create musical masterpieces. (which they have many of). i am sick of all the shitty ass poser bands that flood the mainstream market. if most people were intelligent dr dog would be recognized as the greatest band out today.
