isn't this supopsed to be a fing debate not a childish war "truce" between two people. screw them both!!! ron paul rules!!! hes the only one that cares.
@electangorocks are you kidding me... Gingrich has so many problems Obama is probably drooling to run against him... Santorum sucks and is corrupt but he is a baby compared to these two.
@electangorocks You apparently do not know the difference between a republic and a colony. America does not have to be an empire to be a world power. America will always be a world power because of the size of our economy, the reach and creative force of our culture, our technological sophistication and because of the inspiration of our ideals. The purpose of our military is not to make us rome, but to leave us free to be ourselves. Our power is such that no one will dare bother us.
@sleedolfine15 You apparently do not know the difference between a world power and a colony. China and America are world powers. If America is not a world power, America becomes a colony. Since Ron Paul's foreign policy is what China wants, it is reasonable to assume that Ron Paul plans to make America a colony of China, isn't it? Under Ron Paul, China wouldn't have to attack America to force its will upon America. Ron Paul will just give China what it wants without a fight.
@electangorocks You believe that everyone in the world are helpless idiots and that were the U.S.to pull back from interventionism that other countries would lack the strength and the intelligence to devise a defensive strategy against China or anyone else. As for Pearl Harbor,Hawaii is a part of the United States and if China or anyone else dared to attack this country President Paul would crush that enemy because our large armed forces would be here & not all over the world.
@sleedolfine15 Once again, if we follow the Ron Paul-Chinese plan, we will withdraw from Japan and Korea etc. The Chinese will move forward and assume hegemony over Eastern Asia and the Western Pacific. Then what is the point of having military forces in Hawaii? Next, the Chinese say "we need to station our ships in Pearl Harbor." And what will be Ron Paul's response if he's president? We would just make more people not like us in China if we didn't let China have Pearl Harbor, you know!!
@electangorocks China hasn't been a communist country since Deng Xiaoping's reforms decades ago, turning China into one of the fastest growing economies in the world. I know that interfers with your fantasy narrative, but those are the facts Our presence may not be unpopular in Korea and Japan, but it is in the mid-east. Besides,I don't care what other countries think about our overseas presence. Once again, explain how a noninterventionist foreign policy make the U.S. weaker?
@sleedolfine15 Hello?!? Putting a man in as Commander in Chief who follows the Chinese Communist prescription for American foreign policy would weaken America. Our presence in Japan and Korea is not an unpopular foreign intervention. It is helping the Japanese and Koreans maintain their economic prosperity and keeping Japan and Korea safer from the Chinese threat. Yet Ron Paul wants to withdraw American forces in line with Chinese policy. Ron Paul's ideas mean a weaker America.
"ragan", "ragan","ragan", "ragan","ragan", "ragan","ragan", "ragan" sounds like a boy scout republican.
