I agree with you. No I did not listen Boheme, but many other performances of Netrebko. I think that the perfect role for her was and maby still is Manon of Massenet which she perfomed with Villazon. Ciao Olaig100

Sono un ammiratore incondizionato di Anna Netrebko, che canta benissimo muovendosi indifferentemente e stretta da qualunque vestito. Forse ha cancellato tutte le altre anche grandissime soprano e la sintesi che esprime di tecnica, voce, interpretazione musicale, recitazione, unite alla gioventù e alla bellezza, per me rappresenta un miracolo nell'opera d'arte.

Come con la Callas cambiò il modo di cantare l'opera e d' interpretarla, così con Netrebko si è iniziata una nuova epoca nella quale oltre a cantare bene occorre recitare e finalmente le varie Sutherland possono restare nei CD, ma non saranno mai un esempio di "recitar cantando" che è il binomio perfetto per questo genere di manifestazione artistica.

Why are people criticizing this and all videos? It is a joy for those of us who cannot attend opera performances no matter who sings it or whether they have the "right" voice for this or that opera. Folks opera was only available to the wealthy. Here we are given this wonderful gift...don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Just enjoy.

i love her, but i think this is not the role for her voice. Too dark and deep, she is a real lirico...have you listened to her bohème? one of the most emotional I've ever listened to.
