@Asae2 ain't it right, that algren was the only survivor? in my opinion, he's the last samurai, because he's the last man who really understood katsumoto's way of life and the whole samurai tradition - but anyway; the soundtrack is one of the best soundtracks i've heard in a lifetime and the whole movie is a huge and beautyful work of art

GOD bless you guys that can understand the way of true honor, I did not mean like the samurai were the only ones! sorry for the misunderstanding! every culture and every one can reach honor, it depends totally from the person itself. but saying samurais and it`s beautiful culture, this melody and they`re way of envyrioment understanding must dye, for me it`s like an arrow to the my heart. it realy hurts knowing that some kind of people like spicyham still exists... they`re a shame... TO HONOR!!!

Its hard to believe that once great warriors were looking at them and now nobody are there to watch them blossom and die and worshipping them.

today....they die...ephemeral,just like our lives.....and tomorrow there'll be nobody to watch them.
