  • Always get a kick out of the fact that the cast list at the end of this trailer lists "Edward G. Robinson" above "Humphrey Bogart." Bogart had always played a supporting role in their earlier films together and had only recently become an A-picture leading man, while Robinson had been one since 1931.

  • @merkurijs

IIRC, it's just part of the score by the legendary Max Steiner who is probably best known for composing "Tara's Theme" in Gone With The Wind.

  • Two of the best actors ever: Bogart and Robinson. And lovely Lauren Bacall... A great movie!

  • Seen this movie many time and i never get tired of it .

  • the good old days

  • Fantastic movie

  • Tom Gomez played one of"Johnny Rocco's"(Eddie Robinson's)henchmen..he worked in two films with A&C.

  • This is a great film. One of my late grandfather's favorites -- he showed it to me on TV when I was young, and I still love it today.

  • a colour version would be great!
