No one can cover Pixies. I don't want to hate. But it's one of those bands that can't be touched, like Nirvana.

I respect that they recognize Pixies, but it's a horrible cover.

It's an almost verbatim cover, except a bit less interesting and not quite as enjoyable a performance. I hate Papa Roach just as much as anyone else, but there's really no reason to get THAT fucking worked up over it because "ZOMG NO ON IS EVER ALLOWED TO PLAY THIS SONG EXCEPT THE PIXIES BACK IN 1989 I HATE MY LIFE"

Original is way slower and with less powerful riff. It's like comparing Chris Isaak's original version of Wicked game with the version by HIM....Him brought completely different energy to the song, so did PR with the Gouge Away....

@2vamp1 I don't know if you've listened to the original, but Papa Roach DID sing it the same way, just the ending is a little different. And a version of someone else's song with the exact same lyrics and the exact same guitar riffs is a cover.
