On Wednesday, October 19, 2011, the Tibetan community in the Twin Cities gathered for a Candlelight Vigil on the plaza of the Courthouse in downtown Minneapolis. They stood together to protest the oppressive conditions in Ngaba, Tibet, which have led to the self-immolation of ten Buddhist monks and nuns over the past two years.
This video is a simple tribute to the memories of those individuals. The names and circumstances of each individual is read by Tenzin Sonam. The music is from Lama Chenno.
