My main piece in response to this title (set for us by Candice Breitz) was a series of drawings which were intended to convey the mechanical and biological process of getting literally from the letter A to the letter B. To elucidate, I made drawings of the movement of the mouth when articulating the 2 letters. I then photographed the drawings and put them together in order to make this short animation, wherein the cycle of A to B is repeated and rhythmically punctuated by a drawing of me with my mouth closed. What I like about this piece is that it requires only vision in order to perceive sound - we can hear the movement between the letters without any aural device, simply because we are so accustomed to seeing the 'going from the [alphabetical] A to B' in everyday life
