This presentation is an introduction to a project to establish a Tibetan medical college in Golok. The presentation talks about Sengdruk Taktse School, gives a short introduction to Tibetan medicine, and talks about how Tibetan medicine is important to Tibetans as well as the rest of the world.
The photos of the Tibetan herb/flowers and Yartsa Gunbu are courtesy of Daniel Winkler (http://www.danielwinkler.com), he has an excellent website with many photos of plants and fungi in Tibet. He also leads mushrooming tours in Tibet.
