This is the only song from the "Homecoming" album not written by either band member. The original version is a beautiful collaboration by each member lending their own unique vocal style to this John Martyn tune. A true classic by any measure!

Love this song! The original recording has a great electric piano groove running through it and the piano is really turned up in the mix. The song as well as the recording has a most haunting beauty to it.

I got in touch with Dan Peek about a month ago, I have loved America ever since "a horse with no name" but  I hadn't realised they knew John Martin.Dan was kind enough and magnanimous to reply and take the time to explain how it all came about.I don't want to presume but I guess he was very unwell at this time.All the more respect for a great guy who improoved the quality of my life countless times. R.I.P my special soul mate.
