  • I've heard some people bash him. 7 years ago when I really needed to flip some cards because my wife was unable to work because she was recovering from cancer. I ordered a 1971 Topps FB set and they threw in a free Bradshaw RC that graded a BVG7.5. I still have it.

  • wow kid this is a tribute not a my cards are better than yours!

  • I really enjoyed this video. Vintage is king!!!!!!

  • ahhhhhhhhh sad story :( ... :D

  • Also I remember, and this is painful, being offered a 52 Topps Mantle card for 75 dollars some time in the mid 70s. I was only about 12 years old and 75 dollars might as well have been a million bucks. Kids didn't have money back then like they do now. I asked my father for the money and he looked at me like I was crazy. He said no baseball card was worth 75 dollars. You can bet I reminded him of this over the years.

  • Wow, I haven't heard the name Larry Fritsch in a long time. I collected cards up till the early 80s and bought a lot of cards from Larry Fritsch through the mail. Another outfit was called "Wholesale Cards" up in Connecticut. I remember buying complete Topps sets, 1968, 1970, 1972, for about 30 bucks each around 1975. Hoyt Wilhelm was one of my favorites. I bought a 52 Topps Wilhelm card, which was from the last series & rare, for 7 bucks. I thought that was a lot for a baseball card then, LOL.

  • Every spring I got a set of cards from larry fritsch. Great christmas present but had to wait to spring to get them. The anticipation would build starting in spring training

  • Nice video.Yes your grandfather was really was one of the pioneers of card collecting and one of the only reputable guys you could buy older cards from through the mail.In the 70's I did buy some from him and always had his mail out price list that I would read over and over till i got the next one.To me the Fritsch name was as important to baseball cards as Beckett.Your grandfathers input had a lot to do with the pricing of cards.A true legend in card collecting.

  • did anyone notice that most of these cards are dodgers and yankees

  • 90$ bob feller

  • how much would you sell your pee wee reese

  • Thank you for a walk back in time to baseball's true golden era.
