A few things: The sashes are both shades of purple. The sashes go all the way around instead of stopping on the side. Also they're both shade of light purple, no baby blue. And also chiffon is a weave. It can be made of silk, polyester, or cotton. So it's not a choice of chiffon OR silk. There's such a thing as silk chiffon.

you're amazing.. thats the most beautiful/accurate version (or partial) of the swim dress i've ever seen! i want to make it myself someday .. although i've never sewn in my entire life.
