  • What the heck does restricting immigration have to do with Christianity? Jesus told his followers to go into all the world (that requires immigration!). In fact the Old Testament required that Israelites "not oppress the Aliens in their land." The hispanics who immigrate are actually more Pro-Life than their white counterparts anyway. While I like Ron Paul, I believe that true Christians and true Libertarians should welcome immigrants who just want to have a better life.

  • @MrAbolitionist First, for the disciples to go into all the nations means emigration and if that emigration broke immigration laws they would never do it. Jesus told his followers to follow the ordinances of man. If our laws allow it, so be it. Laws about immigration change with the times and the needs of the public. The current laws, if people want them changed will be changed. Until then these ILLEGAL ALIENS are just that, ILLEGAL.

  • @anyusmoon1 "if people want them changed will be changed. " That's pretty much majoritarianism though. That's like saying Christians HAVE to support mandated health insurance and th income tax simply because it's the law. Supporting and following are two different things. Supporting means wanting something to continue, while following means obeying a law, whether you think it right or not.

  • @MrAbolitionist I'll hone in on it here for you... We are to support a government that is within the law. The tax code, written convolutedly on purpose is misapplied and thus a terror to the people. The mandated health insurance is the same.

The immigration law IS written in a way to provide flexibility for population needs and has been abused and distorted beyond what anyone can reconcile. there are 35 million illegals here. Its out of control. As are most things.

  • You are a very sweet and wise person. Thanks for the video and your responses! And Happy Thanksgiving anyusmoon1. :) Keep up the good work.

    Ron Paul 2008!

  • RP did not oppose federal funding for gay marriage because he's homophobic. I've heard him say he dousn't think it's a sin, I've also heard him say he wants "don't ask don't tell" overturned. The reason he opposed federal funding for gay adoptions is because he opposes federal for VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING!
