Week 23 (Day 161) Roaccutane / Accutane Diary

Hey everyone, derm extended my treatment for another 3 months since my acne is still active (i broke out a bit for 2 weeks), side effects are still prominent with dry skin and dry lips being the major ones, soreness of the joints isnt as bad but occurs at times of strenous exercise, face becomes red after exercise (you cant really see it that well on this video)
- 50 mgs

ive been on it for about 2 weeks i can see its all starting to clear up but ive got really dry hair and it feels thin did your hair go back to normal afterwards?

im still on the treatment haha, i hate my hair, i went to get a haircut and my hairdresser said "why is your hair soo dry" and yeah man its the treatment

hello, just wanted to say that i started roaccutane over a week ago and got put on 60mg. face went red and dry for a few days and it's still dry now. lips are sooooo dry. i hope my skin clears up in the end. you say you have to pay for it but we get it free on our health service. well good luck! i hope it goes splendidly for you (and for me too). i get depressed but that's cos of wot i look like and not cos of pills.

, yeah man one of the side effects is redness, and the lips go as dry as hell, my lips are still f'd up haha i cant wait till im done with my treatment ive got a bit over 2 weeks left

My main point: the side effects are temporary (at least here). Don't worry. Many people are literally scarred for life, because their conservative doctors didn't wanna prescribe ro-accutane.

Hej there, I'm 26y old now and had acne from 11y old to 18, until I FINALLY got ro-accutane. The acne vanished for about 90-95%. After the ro-accutane treatment, which took 3 months, the acne hasn't come back. BUT the most common side effect (dry skin) has fade here, my skin gets just as fat as always, but there's almost no acne anymore.

Side effects differ per person, but for me it was the perfect pill. Only a bit dry lips those 3 months, now everything's normal. Only some new acne on the back

ive been looking for your videos and im glad its cleared up for you :) im on roaccutane and im 14 years old, so far ive had really dry lips, peeling sking on my nose and a little bit of back pain :) i hope mine clears up, its nice knowing im not alone

dude, i've been on it for ages now, about 3 months and just where your bottom lip connects to your top lip (on both sides) it got so dry it started bleeding and shit, got dry eyes, breakouts. my back has gone much clearer than before though, so i'm staying strong man. good luck to you
