The first feature of Arab-Canadian filmmaker, Ruba NADDA, reveals the private world of Muslim women living in the West. The result is an uplifting story of 40 year-old Sabah (Arsinée KHANJIAN), who finds love and independence without losing her community or family.

  • the scene where the daughter is supposed to meet her future husband and suddenly decides to become a strict muslim, whereas she has always been very liberal in Canada, cracks me up every time, such a funny scene. And then when Saba dances bellydance for Steven is so cute
