@SketchPalace He was trying to get in the house. He had to use both hands to get through that small window so even if he had a weapon, he wouldn't have been able to use it.
Also, if he had really killed that guy, he'd have been charged with murder. You're just believing the popular mis-belief that you can do anything to someone who's forced entry into your home.
A court will never side with someone who used excessive force without fearing for his life and esp if that resulted in death.

So... You hit someone who was unarmed on the head with a baseball and this is worthy of the news?
You could have easily killed him if you hit him in the right spot and for what? For a few belongings that are probably worthless.
Also, this would not have been self-defense. You'd have been charged with murder for sure.

@yatah how would you know the guy was unarmed? who would take the chance? and we dont know if he was unarmed cause he got away and was arrested later on. he could have had a gun. And he wouldnt have been charged with murder btw.
