Every May Day morning, the Wessex Morris Men after dancing above the famous Cerne Abbas Giant, dance with greenery through the streets of Cerne Abbas. Leading the procession is the Dorset Ooser, - a representation of a bull or Wild Man which by tradition was believed to be a potent source of fertility.
