How about just saying so in a *friendly* way? Another thing would be just changing the description? Those would be better ways than randomly call ppl dudes and say that YOU decided that this is a random bug, which it isn't anyway.
Oh and, I'm not a freaking dude, I have boobs which makes me at least a "gal".
