    Han China outperformed Rome in achievements and they existed at the same time. British empire mostly took empty expanses of land mostly desert and useless jungle where no one lived. The Mongols improved the economies of the nations they conquered. Introduced new technologies, removed borders, established trade routes, and built numerous bridges. They even introduced gunpowder warfare to the Europeans -bombs, grenades, and cannons from China.
