You mean Jailbrakeing? Unlocking is for iPhones. If you have an Ipod touch. Yes, its safe to now jailbrake the 3G Itouch.

It depends really. They have thousands of shipments. If you redeemed earlier you will be shipped earlier. Usually 3-4 days after purchase. Sometimes longer. But its worth the wait
