Sarkozy Says Burqas Not Welcome in France

Even as some Western leaders try to ease tensions with the Muslim world, the president of France is refusing to accept one display of Muslim identity. President Nicolas Sarkozy is declaring that the Islamic burqa is not welcome in France. (June 23)

Don't just seek to humiliate women who wear the burqa. No free woman, who enjoyed equal human rights, could possibly want to smother themselves, or their daughters, in a living shroud. Seek, instead, to understand what lies behind veiling . The rigid and unchangeable religious rules, written in the 7th century, dictate male dominance and female subservience. Women can't challenge the rules as, to do so, would be a punishable crime. Challenge the men, not the women.

Secularism is COMPLETE avoidance of religious policies in governmental decisions.

Muslims are taking over Europe. It's a good thing this has happened. All Europe should be doing what France is starting to do. In a few decades Europe will be a predominantly Muslim state if this continues. No more should be allowed in at all.
