Its important to question the world around you, sure. Even question establishments and yes church governing bodies, question everything, but when a whole "religion" is formed purely to prove another "relgion" incorrect, that appears to be crossing the line, don't you think?

The Bible's history extends to 15,000 years ago? Incorrect. Even if you take the dates based on genealogies at face value, you'd have a much shorter history. But, of course, some of those things never happened.

Christians and Muslims each always seem to think it's all about them. I've seen each of them insistent that only their religion is criticized by atheists (and hence must be the true one).

Don't agree with your last comment though, its unfair to even compare Christianity and Islam, its not even logical to classify them both as the same type of religion, one is forged on love, peace and good will towards men, trust in God, and the other has its roots, in hatred violence and trust in mans ability over the ability of God.

MichaelLeppan-You are correct that alot of the people that are "preaching" atheism are from the US, and there are very good reasons why..the people here who follow your beliefs have ruined our government,our education system,and our social standing in the world- GW Bush is a prime example of what damage the followers of this death cult can achieve, and soon our religious right will elect another complete idiot to destroy some more..

Uh, I'm afraid that just doesn't follow. I imagine you think it does, but you haven't really demonstrated as much. You seem to imagine that Christianity is the only source of law and order. This is classic question-begging, though.

preaching atheism?! yes, I just found out about the FSM...flying spaghetti monster. yes a "religion" for a made up,imaginary creature. It's sad. They "preach" because they are fighting Jesus. Not us Christians. If they don't believe, why are they fighting others? Or even fighting in the first place? I agree just take up a hobby or something. Pray for the atheists...they are for whom Jesus died for,the object of His affection. They just don't know it...or don't care.
