The Montreal-based musician performs "Beijing," "Big Bird In A Small World" and "Wooden Arms" at the WNYC studios in New York City. Watson's stunning, romantic voice soars above the guitars and highly orchestrated melodies amid a driving pulse of precise piano work. Meanwhile, Kuster's clattering percussion is crisply performed on snare drums, marimbas and household pots turned upside-down. It's an inspired sound from a great young artist. • I love that Patrick is getting the recognition he deserves. It's a hobby of mine to follow underground Canadian artists, they're really amazing. Canada has some of the best music in the world and I hope all of these great artists to get recognized. It's about time America starts to realize what REAL music is. I wish you the best of luck Patrick, you're truly a brilliant musician.

  • @brianwildemusic Do you happen to have a blog where you showcase them? I would be super interested in underground Canadian music lovely like this.

  • Fuck yes!

  • 鬼才!!!

  • stops at 5:37 ?

  • Ohhh 421 on vocals? I would say that was odd, except for the fact that they're in at a radio station :P

  • Ton song is 11:11 long. And my wish is to listen to your voice forever.

  • @kingericio I have seen that version and I do agree with you. I was just talking about this version however. There is undoubtably an overproduced sound to it and it's barely worth listening to compared to the QTV version.

  • @bubsadoozy Listen to the Q tv recording of Beijing and you will see that you are both wrong, Patrick has phenomenal vocals, the piano and percussion both make the song, it is amazing, and in my opinion preferred, without the reverb and all that jazz.

  • @brianwildemusic I'm also curious of what other underground artists you like. A hobby of mine is looking for great underground artists :)
