Thanks for posting. Funny to see its right hand drive version. I had several examples, it was a surprisingly good car in its day. How satisfied were you with yours? And how much did it cost to buy one new in the UK?

I owned this car about 17 years ago, at the time it cost £325.00. I liked it when I had it, no real problems to be honest. I sold only to get something that wasn't quite as thirsty.

Those reliable LADAs were exported versions, made better than for domestic market, unfortunately... That's why many-many LADAs were returned back in 90's... (

Best car in the world......! I spend my working life working on modern (mostly foreign prestige) cars, shit compared to LADA cars. I spend five years working for a Lada dealer in Sussex, best years of my working life. I have had 24 in total and still own four!. Lada Rules!!!!.

I remember lada diesel taxi's of this shape but never saw one for sale.
