Is there a way to fast forward a certain part of a clip? For example: I'm recording for a game. I'm recording the entire time I'm alive. I want to fast forward the parts where I'm not killing anything, and then have it slow down again when someone shows up that I kill. When I increase the velocity is crews things up and adds the beginning of my video to the end of my video etc.
How do I make the audio match up with it?

If you use the velocity envelope it is very difficult to match the audio to the video. You can right click on the end of the audio track and drag it shorter or longer. You should see some wave lines where the mouse is when you drag it. This indicates it is compressing or expanding the audio not the cutting it off. If you do the same with the video you can easily match them up. But as I said the using the velocity envelope with the original audio track doesn't line up well.

You need to right click on the video and choose velocity envelope. It should appear immediately.
