Jeremy came to Washington, DC a little earlier this time so he could see the city and introduce himself to the Columbia Heights community before his Seed the Sound performance at BloomBars.

Jeremy James has an incredible sound forged out of mellow electric grooves, caressed with some acoustic guitar - - in a style that reminds us of classic Isley Brothers and Stevie Wonder.
Often described as being a cross between Stevie Wonder and Seal, Jeremy's voice seems to embrace both sides of this style equally. It is slightly raspy at some points, with an honest, organic quality, which is warm, strong, and heartfelt. He has wooed audiences with his performances in well-known New York venues including SOB'S, The Schomburg, Joe's Pub, Knitting Factory, and the Blue Note. Playing those gigs is where he honed his sound.
He is now in the process of recording a solo album of original songs and preparing to make a trip to the West coast where he will add new fans to his already large following established in the New York area.
Never change that sound, right there, man. Keep it raw and emotional like that. One man, one mic, one guitar.
Beautiful.
