  • I was 16 when this album was released and I bought it. It had a big impact on me and I became a Frank Zappa fan for life. I realized that I didn't have to die without ever having an individual thought, like most people, and that in the end, being popular costs too much.

  • @Darksideofthecole It wouldn't sound the same if it was done "normally", it would sound different.... It wouldn't be Frank Zappa and the Mothers.

But I agree about it being extended.

Every time I hear it I want it to go on forever.

Maybe not forever but for quite a while.

At least, like, 4 minutes or something.

    I dunno.

    What was the question?

  • @fuckyou76788

Yer right. Just a this album should have been a double lp.

  • this song should be longer...

  • THIS ALBUM WILL LIVE FOREVER!

  • Completely out of place comment on a Zappa song, but I always thought that the first 45 seconds of this song would make a really good single if it was extended and done "normally." Then again, maybe it's so special because it manages to be catchy and expirimental in such a short period of time.

  • this song could be in Alice in Wonderland, perfect fit,no?

  • after reading the comments i have to add two cents (the intellectual portion of the song 99% seems missedby most) ....the song is a parody and cut at the beatles and the appeal theyhad to restless/ angst driven teenagers....he / they are mocking the exploitation...if Frank were doing songs today...wow, what a fertile field he would have !!!! The Beatles are my #1 forever, but Zappa is always amazing...if a bit uncomfortable
