It looks like the zipper burst, probably from too much pressure being placed on it. Considering Gene's manic energy as he jumps about the set in every episode, I'm surprised this didn't happen more often!

I don't remember exactly where they stopped playing MG75 in the current FF slots, but I do know that Charles Nelson Reilly should be back on the panel the first week of August. I started watching MG75 in that old timeslot and it finally occurred to me to start taping them about a week before FF took over, so I'm looking forward to seeing some of these as these reach the afternoon rotation.

So many things (like Gene's boot) always broke on this show. And the reactions of the panel helped to make the Match Game the most entertaining game show of all time. They didn't get much done on the show, but it was very entertaining.
