i absolutly love Checotah. i was born in muskogee.. grew up in Tulsa, now I live in Checotah. Don't know what I'd do without Carrie.

when i was about 13 or 14 my best friend's alcoholic mother and step-father used to drive us to Eufala Lake, and we'd run around while they sat at one of those picnic tables in the coves that didn't have any grass around them but plenty of shade and drink a 12 pack. on the way back home i remember she slurred to me in the backseat, "if you get cold just pull that blanket of dust over you". I think she was referencing that area under the rear window that indeed was dusty

i live in broken arrow. and when u hear oklahoma, or tulsa, or etc. u get this good feeling. and i know how she feels. i LOVE my oklahoma. its the greatest place on earth.
