I took a little ride in Chernarus. When I took this video I was still unfamiliar with it. I was using the Saitek X52 and TrackIR 4: PRO with yaw and pitch only. 6DOF is for now very buggy.

  • How are the graphics on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, 1 being horrible

  • @tanmyman777 This is actually the free community preview for the ArmA 2 Combined Operations and this video clip should be not considered for rating the graphics. If the ArmA 2 runs good, then ToH probably will too. And I don't have the Take On Helicopters beta, what makes me the wrong person for such questions.

  • how can you play with this lagg?

  • @PlaneAU The lag was only when I was recording the video. Without fraps running I don't have any lag problems after all.

  • Also, another question, ive heard people have gotten other heli's in, does the flight model also apply to arma 2 helicopters?

  • @PoliticoELGamer Nope, it doesn't. It's preview only for a Take On Helicopters, not ArmA 2.

  • im a big helifan ,fly rc helis and liked the arma helis and dcs blackshark,

this ,,take on heli'' was good looking and after a few missions i found it repetative and boring.

also this one needs a very high spec computer to run smooth on highest settings

im ok in that departement ,but nice to know for people that take interrest in this game

it will be boring after a few flights,im sure

  • dynamic rollover

  • @PoliticoELGamer

way nicer, proper auto rotation and drag, much nicer feel.

Slightly more complex, but I find it easier and more intuitive.

  • @PoliticoELGamer It's a lot challenging. In A2 the pilot could be anyone. But for a TakOH ... I can't say that. You actually need a decent joystick. Anyway you still can fly it with a keyboard but if you ask me thats not it. :)
