@justbefoda Are you serious? That's like saying "all black metal follows the old Burzum footsteps so everyone who plays black metal is copying Burzum and I will only ever listen to Filosofem". Burzum is not depressive, nor is it suicidal. Ever thought of lyrical content between the two? Yes of course they have similarities because they are still BLACK METAL. It is a sub-genre of black metal.

@ChurchInAshes dude i feel sorry for whatever has happened with you and your wife.. but i really understand what u are talking about.. depressive black metal isn't music which makes you depressive or turns your personality in something bad.. (at least i think it wouldn't be the right way) it is music which can give you a lot of strength.. which helps u to come through a bad time in life, it can make u happy if u listen to it with a lot of passion, calm you down.. i hope my english is good enough
