@modelrrscenery Almost correct! Plaster of Paris does in fact increase in temperature as it sets, however the temperature rise is very small and thus burns only occur is if very large quantities of drying Plaster is left in contact with skin for extended periods of time. For regular use like the kind in this video, or for small scale moulding, the temperature rise is negligible and often undetectable.

Hi,
Not at all. The plaster of Paris is just a powder that will just take on the temperature of the water you use.

@modelrrscenery What tempreture is best? for it. Also im buying a 15kg tub for £11.81 is tht good and is it enough to make like a couple of big hills and rocks ect?

@WhiteKnightGaming I just do it at room temperature, whatever that may be, inside or outside. I've never had a problem. I use a pie tin to make the stuff. So it's not very big - just big enough to make a pie. Don't make too much at any one time so it doesn't harden too much too fast. I make enough to soak about 4 or 5 paper towels then I repeat.
