As Sladen aged she got better looking, as the rest of us age we just get old.

Truly sad, her passing... It just occurred to me, given the date of this interview, that she must have been ill at this point (whether aware of it of not), as this is just approximately 6 months before she died... Still one of the most attractive (and ageless) women ever to be on television. A part of my childhood vanished when she died... :(

Aww, she was just truley lovely!! Lis was, still is and always will be my favourite actress ever. You couldnt really find a nicer person than her and to be honest i think the world has lost someone increadibly special :( RIP Lis, xx

@TheDraykez It seems so, and it was only revealed by her daughter this week that she was diagnosed in Feb 11, so the series had been well and truly put on hold, one can only assume for budgetary reasons??...(previously I thought production of the 2nd half of Series 5 was halted because of her illness but this big gap is also a factor)
