Hiroshima and Nagasaki are not atrocities but a necessary evil. It was either that or invade the main land. Either way tons of Japanese citizens were going to die. I can't remember which island but out of the 25,000 Japanese on it, less than 500 surrendered. They viewed us as inferior and would not dare surrender. Death before dishonor. The atomic bombs allowed the U.S. to keep our boys alive. Not trying to be an ass either. Just a little history. Natives is an atrocity. No argument there.
