8 year old, 16.2 hand OTTB gelding

Simon has a cute, sweet personality and fits the "tall dark and handsome" bill perfectly. Everywhere he goes, he catches attention. He has gotten comments like "elegant horse" on his dressage tests, and he certainly is. Scores in the mid 30s/60s. His rocking-chair canter is to die for with plenty of reach in his shoulder. Schooling counter canter, leg yield, and working on lengthenings.
Simon is schooling 3'3-3'6 at home and has shown 3'3 jumpers and has evented a few times at Novice and Training Level. He is bold and brave on cross country and does not hesitate at ditches, trekehners or water. Definite potential for Preliminary and beyond with the right rider.
Simon is not for a beginner. A quiet, confident rider is best for him, as he can get a bit strong on cross country at times, like most thoroughbreds do. He is sound and sensible, great to handle on the ground and a joy to ride for someone with skill. Suitable for a strong C2 and above. Wears a cribbing collar.
Currently priced at $8500 to the right person. Price subject to increase with further competition experience.

@xxOnTheBitxx Thanks! It's a Barnsby Milton Pro Seat. I really like it and it fits almost every horse I put it on, but I'm dreaming of the day I can get a monoflap. I can dream.... :)
